WE ARE LOOKING FOR MECHANICAL TECHNICIANS AND ELECTRICAL TECHNICIANS FOR A POWER GENERATION PLANT

 

Job Requirement:

·        Candidate shall possess a Certificate or Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering from polytechnic/College/University that are recognized by the Malaysian Local Qualification Agency (MQA).

·        Shall be a Malaysian citizen below 30 years of age.

·        Ability to execute and manage the assigned works as per CLIENT’s standard operating procedure.

·        Other requirements:

a) Able to operate measuring tool.

b) Able to lead team for minor work.

c) Able to lead the team for inspection/ servicing/ overhaul works.

·        Able to do teamwork and matrix reporting.

·        Have own means of transport to work outstation. Motorcycle is strictly not acceptable for outstation works.

·        Able to work outstation most of the time.

·        Able and committed to work long hours including weekend and public holiday as and when required.

·        Ensure free from any restrictions/blacklist of such agencies;

a) Inland Revenue Board (IRB),

b) Insolvency department, National Registration Department (NRD),

c) Employees Provident Fund (EPF),

d) Bank Negara Malaysia (BNM),

e) National Higher Education Fund Corporation (PTPTN), and

f) Court Order

·   Shall possess certified fit and healthy medical check-up report by authorized Operational Health Doctor (OHD).

 

Job Description for Mechanical Technician (4pax)

a) Demonstrate proficiency in accurately and efficiently troubleshooting and repairing mechanical problems on multiple types of equipment.

b) Perform preventative maintenance (PM) with minimum guidance and minimal call outs (CO).

c) Perform major maintenance (MM), overhauls, and mob / demob as part of a team.

d) Demonstrate customer service skills.

e) Read, write and speak English (work orders, manuals, etc.)

f) Follow all health, safety and environmental procedures.

g) Intermediate computer skills.

h) Complete and submit company required documentation in an accurate and timely fashion.

i) Perform measurement and kept record.

j) Update person in charge (PIC) daily on-site condition and recommend solution.

k) Comply with site requirement and regulations.

l) Perform any other delegated responsibilities as instructed by PIC/ authorized personnel within the specified time frame, in a safe and efficient manner to meet business requirements, provided the instruction is reasonable and one is deemed competent to fulfil them.

 

Job Description for Electrical Technician (4pax)

a) Carry out repairs, maintenance and preventive works on electrical equipment, including not limited to:

- Generator

- AVR & excitation system

- Isolated phase busduct (IPB)/busbar

- Circuit breaker

- Transformer

- Cable

- Line

- Protection system

- Medium voltage system

- Low voltage system

- DC system & UPS

- Electrical motor

- Motorized actuator

b) Comply with technical standards and specifications.

c) Monitor electrical equipment availability

d) Execute electrical projects and outages according to proper procedure.

e) Carry troubleshooting of electrical system.

f) Able to read and understand basic electrical drawing.

g) Prepare and compile check-sheets, measurements and submit to site PIC.

h) Update PIC daily on-site condition and recommend solution.

i) Comply with site requirement and regulation.

 

Job Location: Shah Alam and other locations as and when required.

Duration : 2 years contract other allocations
