BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER – BINTULU, SARAWAK
- Knows where to create business opportunities, understand the importance of attending industry events and networking functions;
- To follow assigned accounts needs and to identify new leads for business;
- Locate & develop business opportunities for NDT Inspection, Third Party Inspection Services, Manpower Supply related to Marine/ Petrochemical /Oil and Gas business;
- To ensure sales target /KPI are met every month/year;
- Liaise between client/leads and ENERGY WORKFORCE technical team and Operations Team to provide updates and feedback for all technical related questions/procedures and specification needs;
- Conduct and review market analysis to determine customer needs, pricing and trends;
- Provides precise and timely information to Tender team to prepare sales quotations and proposals;
- Participate in major tenders and follow through in tender clarification meetings;
- Support marketing campaigns and promotions;
- Maintain and manage existing contracts/leads database;
- Ensure all clients enquiries/ complaints are addressed within 24hours;
- Responsible to provide training to the subordinates as and when required;
- Perform any other responsibilities as assigned by your reporting manager and/or Senior Management;
- Provides biweekly forecasts and summaries in a timely manner to management;
- Ensure to build trust and satisfaction with the services provided by overseeing all ongoing activities with the clients from beginning till end of assigned project.
Qualifications :
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in customer care, sales or business development in a technical service or preferably in Oil and Gas Industry.
- Degree in Business, Engineering or equivalent would be an asset.
- Proven track record of successful customer relationship & key account management.
- Experience in dealing with NDT Inspection and Manpower supply from O&G Industry will be an added advantage.
- Comfort in dealing with various levels of senior executives.
- Persuading, convincing, influencing, or impressing others in order to promote our offers and get them to support influencing other decision makers.
- Ability to build a sustainable and reliable relationship with the customer.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Knowledge in using MS Office is a prerequisite and exposure to CRM software is an advantage.
- Applicants must be willing to travel nationwide occasionally/ as and when required
- Priority will be given to Sarawakian Candidates
